Installare Sidux 2007.04

Ecco una guida su come si installa l'ultima versione di sidux, la 2007.04, distribuzione basata su debian sid.
Sidux si pone l'obbiettivo di realizzare una distribuzione stabile, efficente e sicura come debian, ma di renderla più semplice nel processo d'installazione del ramo unstable, e mette a disposizione una serie di script per semplificare la vita all'utente medio basso.

Un altra caratteristica di sidux è la presenza di solo software libero, quindi non troverete programmi come flash per citarne uno, ma potrete installarlo aggiungendo i repository non-free, e il software e tutto aggiornatissimo all'ultima versione.

Iniziamo ora con la guida d'installazione di sidux.

Dopo aver scaricato e masterizzato il cd, e riavviato il computer con il cd dentro, al riavvio vi troverete in una schermata come questa:

Da questa schermata potete scegliere varie opzioni, scegliete la prima per avviare il cd live di sidux, per cambiare lingua andate su F4, ma l'italiano non è ancora disponibile.

E' in corso il caricamento del live di sidux, noterete una serie di informazioni e cari messaggi che troverete ogni volta che avviate su sistema operativo linux, almeno che non vi troviate in modalità frame buffer.
